In the coming months reviews left by readers will be archived here. For now, here is a selection of reviews from a couple of stories: Reviews for "In Your Memories", first published 1/1/2008: from ippogrifo: Wonderful. To me it seems more comforting to know that Snape had the chance, still alive, to tell his truth and his pain, to share a moment of comprehension, friendship with someone willing, ready to understand instead of judging and demanding. Things (at least) should have happened like in your moving story. Useless to say I would be very happy if you could write the second scene of this fic. Thank you very much. Happy 2008. from pjausten: Maybe implausible but Severus was such a tormented hero in the novels that it is comforting to think that perhaps he had some small comfort from another person. I hope you do eventually write about Hermione recovering her memory of this conversation. I hope to read that someday. Once again, thank you for your imagine and skill. from Gidjee: Snarky...this is just beautiful. I love that she felt so betrayed originally, she always was a supporter then to have her faith crushed with Dumbledore's death she had to have been reeling from that. What a wonderful portrayal. You portrayed the "Prince's Tale" very well. I look forward to the next story if you are able to finish it, when Severus dies and her memories return. It would make for such a strong scene between her and Harry I think. Thank you for writing. Reviews for "Before the Dawn", first published 8/2/2005, completed 9/7/2006: from Twangcat: I started reading this story yesterday and only stopped to go to sleep last night. You're an amazing storyteller. Great job. from pinkcrayon: I wanted to thank you for this great work of art. You write amazingly and reduced me to tears so many times I lost count. I felt for all the characters, they were all treated with grace, style, they were all believable and the plot you developed... OMG. I admire you in particular for sticking to your story and your own ideas even after reading HBP, something I understand must have been difficult for a Snape fan, especially ignoring what would come next in book 7. You're really gifted and I hope you'll write something this long (your short stories are great too, but they are, you know, short :-) )soon: I'll surely be there for the ride :-) Somehow I consider this ff the 'true' conclusion of HP saga: touching, with a lot of action, and a 'happy ending' way more satisfying than the one JKR delivered to us (even though I absolutely loved DH, weird as this might sound). Thanks again for this incredible work. from Lemonella: Wow...this is beautiful, breathtaking, real, original, moving, passionate, imaginative, poetic yet natural, inspiring, thrilling, mysterious, shocking, bold, colourful, extraordinary...truly the rarest gem in the world of fanfiction. You've made me an avid (addicted) SS/HG fan with your exceptional characterisations, brilliant dialogue, and winding plot. "Before the Dawn" is a fanfic I'll come back to time and time again. Thank you, snarkyroxy :o) |
